These terms govern access to Synora, an AI work buddy service published by SM Tech. By using Synora, you agree to these terms and any applicable Microsoft Marketplace terms.
Purpose
Synora helps users organise goals, weekly outcomes, next moves, feedback and evidence of progress. It provides general AI assistance, not legal, medical, financial, tax, human-resources or professional advice.
Your responsibilities
- Use Synora lawfully and only with information you are authorised to provide.
- Review AI-generated content before relying on or sharing it.
- Protect your account and notify support of suspected unauthorised access.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer or attempt to bypass service safeguards.
Employment decisions
Synora is not an automated employment decision system. Scores, prompts and suggestions must not be treated as the sole basis for hiring, dismissal, promotion, compensation or other material employment decisions.
Subscriptions and trials
Available plans, prices, billing periods, renewals, cancellation and refunds are shown at purchase and may also be governed by Microsoft Marketplace. A trial may convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled under the purchase terms.
Customer content
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant SM Tech the limited rights needed to host, process, secure and display that content to provide Synora. You are responsible for its accuracy and legality.
Service changes
Features may evolve. We may suspend access to protect users, address security or legal concerns, or prevent misuse. We aim to provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
Intellectual property
Synora, its visual identity, software and original content are owned by or licensed to SM Tech. These terms do not transfer those rights.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Synora is provided without guarantees that every output will be accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable Australian consumer protections.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to SM Tech’s Australian operations, subject to mandatory consumer and marketplace rules that apply to you.
